FIRST LADY SANDRA DEAL READS TO PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
Mrs. Deal visited Echols County K-8 School as part of her extended Read Across Georgia initiative. On Thursday, April 25. Pre-K and Kindergarten classes were read the poem "Learning to Read" and the book Who I'd Like to Be. Pictured with Mrs. Deal is K-8 Assistant Principal, Wade Beale.

Geekfest at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Twelve students from Echols High attended the Geekfest at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College on Thursday, April 11, where they learned about a variety of programs. Students were able to experience hands on activities that highlighted the Graphic Arts, Computer Networking, Game Design, Banking and Finance, Drafting and other Technology based areas of study. Pictured here are students who are working in the Graphic Design Department to create pictures using specific software and then seeing their creation produced in the Printing Department.
