Save the Date for our next Title 1 EPIC Event: Reading with Families for our PreK and Kindergarten students. Friday, Sept. 25th.
Our ninth-grade students recently took part in our annual Commitment to Graduate Ceremony. Each student signed a white graduation gown as a symbol of their commitment to graduate high school. When they are seniors, they will vote on a teacher to wear the special gown at their graduation ceremony. They also received a Class of 2030 T-shirt, certificate, and bracelet to remind them of the importance of the commitment they made.
Commitment to Graduate is a high school-wide initiative organized through our School Counseling Department to keep graduation and student success in focus from day one.

Our Physical Science students put their speed to the test in the Speed Olympics! Students raced in different events, tracked their times, analyzed their data, and used their results to determine who was truly the Speed Olympian! 🥇

Rounding with a POP of Fun! Our third graders took rounding to a whole new level! We used balloons to practice rounding numbers to the nearest ten and hundred. Learning through hands-on activities makes math more engaging, memorable, and FUN! We’re rounding, thinking, and learning—one balloon at a time!
Congratulations to the members from the Class of 2028 who received their class rings Monday night! This ceremony, hosted by Jostens and ECHS, created a wonderful memory for these students and their families!

Today, Biology students became birds! They used different types of “beaks” to demonstrate natural selection. Students collected data, analyzed their results, created graphs, and wrote conclusions based on their evidence.

The PSAT will be given at school on 10/22 to 10th grade students who sign up.

Our Echols Parent Involvement Council (EPIC) hosted our Annual Title I Meeting, bringing families together for an evening of learning, creativity, and fun!
Families learned more about Title I, enjoyed some sweet treats, and spent quality time creating book-bag charms with their children.
Thank you to all of our families who joined us! We love seeing our school and families come together to support our Wildcats!

Out of an abundance of caution, due to the uncertainty of smoke in the area, the 1st grade field trip for April 23 as well as field day and middle school athletic banquet scheduled for April 24 will be postponed. An announcement with new dates will be shared soon.
